Singapore, Here We Come . . .

singapore travel books

Ali & I are going to Singapore next week for a little vacation and I’ve been reading up on all the goodness to see, do and eat.  I’m really excited about the trip, and as my first time there, I want to make sure I hit all the highlights.  If anyone has any tips on a “must-see, -do, -eat,” etc., please let me know!!

if you’re still there, i am told that a gin and tonic at the raffles hotel was one of the best things a sailor/marine or anyone could do while in port aside from you know what.

if you get the chance also visit singapore american school, its was once claimed as the best school in asia, and i’d have to agree, of course since i attended there half my life, i biased-ly agree.

    theres always:
    sentosa
    the wierd durian looking building
    hawker stalls
    tiger beer
    the boutiques
    and the orchard night life

i wish i knew more that was uniquely singaporean for you, but i left as an 8th grader, so not much comes to mind, sorry

    Hi Sham!
Thanks for writing. Our stay in Singapore was lovely but I didn’t get to do all the touristy things I wanted to do. We will definitely be back and we’ll let you know. I’m also going to post store reviews on misscrew.com next week so stay tuned!
