from Singapore and very tired and struggling to keep my eyes open. Lot’s of mail to go through, unpacking and catching up to do. Ali took over 600 photos so it’ll take me a minute to go through them and post but I’ll be highlighting my trip in the days to come. For now, I need to catch up on life and on zzzzzz’s.
A few weeks ago Ali and I ventured out of SF to explore the beauty that surrounds the city. We visited the Muir Woods filled with gorgeous, tall Redwoods/Sequoias. After a quick hike we had some fun in the sun at Stinson Beach. It was a lovely day and I’m embarrassed to say it’s taken me years to discover the natural beauty that surrounds SF but I’m happy to do more exploring in the coming months. It’s nice to get out of the city sometimes and get a break from the hustle and bustle and just take some time to “smell the roses.”

What a sad few days! First Bernie Mac, now Isaac Hayes. A music legend is gone - may he rest in peace.
Sorry for the lack of updates lately, I’m in Singapore and trying to take some time off. I went online this morning and read that Bernie Mac passed away and had to express my condolences. The world just got a bit less funny. May he rest in peace.

Monday was crazy with 2 shoots in one day - here we have the cross-over from the teams of both shoots. Lot’s of hard work but lot’s of good times too. Everything is a team effort - I’m lucky to have great people around me

If you’ve followed my blog for a while, you probably know that my favorite all-time super heroine is Wonder Woman. Yes, I had the Underoos, and Wonder Woman was one of the women that I featured during Women’s History Month. Last week, I even wrote about the animated movie set to release in February 2009 on M.I.S.S.
My very good friend M.I.S.S. Liz “Busy Lady” Baca took note and surprised me with this note card set featuring the different versions of Wonder Woman through the years. Yay! Thank you Liz!
Any one that knows me knows that I am a fan of Mead notebooks and have several at all times for different projects, tasks, etc. Not sure if it’s the nostalgia of grade school and learning, the amazing black and white marble print or the grammar/punctuations rules and conversion tables in the back, but Mead marble notebooks are my notebook of choice. Last year, Nike released a men’s Dunk High with the marble notebook pattern and I was really bummed because I couldn’t find my size anywhere. When I found out that Nike was releasing a grade school version this year I was excited and got both the Dunk Low and the Air Max 90 at The Darkside Initiative.
